Nestled along a secluded country lane near the Welsh village of Templeton, Melin Mabes offers three distinct accommodations: a traditional caravan, a treehouse, and the most peculiar option, the Spodnic UFO. Originally constructed for London’s 2012 Olympics to house generators, this galactic-themed pod was transformed by the owners into a quirky retreat, featuring silver walls, sci-fi decorations, and a double bed with bunk beds for up to four guests.
The centerpiece of the UFO is a ladder leading to a platform with a glass dome, perfect for stargazing or enjoying the picturesque Welsh countryside. Outside, a covered kitchen area equipped with essential amenities like a fridge and cooker complements the indoor living space.
