Tiger Woods has reportedly entered a plea of not guilty after his arrest following a rollover crash involving two vehicles in Florida. The 50-year-old, a 15-time major champion, is facing charges related to DUI with property damage and refusal to undergo a lawful test.

The incident occurred when Woods rolled his vehicle while attempting to pass a tow truck on a narrow road, causing the dark SUV to end up on its side. Despite registering 0.00 on a breathalyzer test, he declined to undergo a urinalysis.

Following the crash, Woods was required to spend eight hours at Martin County Jail before being released and allowed to return home.

The news of Woods pleading not guilty first emerged through TMZ, which reported that lawyer Douglas Duncan would be representing him in court.

This update comes shortly after former President Donald Trump shared his thoughts on Woods with the New York Post. Trump mentioned that he had spoken with Woods and expressed his belief that the golfer was coping well despite facing physical challenges due to past injuries.

Sheriff John Budensiek of Martin County provided details of the crash, noting that the initial investigation indicated possible impairment on the part of the Land Rover driver, later identified as Tiger Woods. Despite Woods showing signs of impairment during roadside tests, no injuries were reported from the incident.

Budensiek clarified that Woods tested negative for alcohol but was charged with DUI, property damage, and refusal to take a lawful test due to declining a urinalysis.

The authorities were called to the scene after a rollover crash involving a pickup truck and the overturned Land Rover, with Woods identified as the driver. Despite Woods’ explanations of past injuries and surgeries, he was placed under arrest following in-depth roadside tests.

Fortunately, there were no injuries sustained by either Woods or the other individual involved in the crash.
