Justin Rose expressed his ongoing aspiration to achieve a career Grand Slam following his victory at the Farmers Insurance Open, where he surpassed Tiger Woods’ scoring record. The 45-year-old golf star, who is ranked No.3 globally, also hinted that he is not yet considering taking on the role of European captain in 2027 if Luke Donald opts out.

Reflecting on his recent performance, Rose stated, “I still believe there’s good stuff in front of me.” His remarkable wire-to-wire victory at Torrey Pines, finishing at 23-under 265, marked a historic moment, surpassing the achievements of both Tiger Woods and George Burns in previous years.

Acknowledging his improved form, Rose attributed his success to enhanced tee-to-green play and mental strength, emphasizing the importance of consistency in accessing his full potential. Despite his impressive record of 13 tour titles at prestigious venues like Muirfield Village and Pebble Beach, Rose remains focused on his ultimate goal of winning more major championships.

With a career highlighted by victories at the US Open and an Olympic gold medal, Rose remains determined to pursue multiple achievements in the sport. Expressing his desire to clinch all four major titles, he emphasized the significance of staying motivated and believing in his capability to reach new heights in his career.

Meanwhile, fellow golfer Brooks Koepka made a modest return to the PGA Tour at the LIV Golf tournament, finishing tied 56th. The upcoming season of the Saudi-backed league is set to commence soon. Despite offers from alternative leagues, Rose reaffirmed his commitment to competing on the European Tour and the PGA Tour, citing his drive to challenge himself against the best players worldwide as a key factor in his career aspirations.
