Excitement awaits UK theme park enthusiasts as the upcoming year promises a plethora of new attractions and experiences. As the spring season approaches, many parks are gearing up to welcome visitors back, some unveiling new rides and themed lands. Whether seeking thrills or family-friendly adventures, there is an array of upcoming openings to mark on the calendar.

Among the highlights, Paultons Park is set to debut Valgard: Realm of the Vikings on May 16, featuring three Viking-themed attractions including the thrilling Drakon rollercoaster and the Vild Swing ride soaring 39ft high. Additionally, Chessington will introduce the eagerly anticipated World of PAW Patrol in spring 2026, offering four new rides, including Chase’s Mountain Mission and Skye’s Helicopter Heroes.

Furthermore, Alton Towers will delight guests with the world’s first Bluey roller coaster, “Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies!” opening on March 28. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, the Toxicator coaster, known for its high-speed spins, is a must-try. Blackpool Pleasure Beach will unveil the UK’s tallest gyro swing ride, Aviktas, in spring, coinciding with the park’s 130-year celebration offering discounted tickets for early bookers.

Crealy will introduce two new rides, Pirates’ Plummet and Rotor, in 2026, promising exhilarating experiences for visitors. Pleasurewood Hills, under new ownership, plans to revamp the park with four new rides, including the Star Flyer and Spinning Coaster, pending planning approval.
