A 19-year-old girl, Kelsey O’Connor, was discovered deceased at The Mannamead, a Wetherspoon pub located in the Mutley area of Plymouth on March 31. Emergency services responded to the incident around 7.30am, leading to the establishment of a cordon in an adjacent alleyway.

During the inquest into Kelsey’s death, it was revealed that she was found unresponsive at the pub, where paramedics later pronounced her deceased. Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.

Despite the ongoing investigation, the specific cause of Kelsey’s death remains undetermined. Following the incident, a Wetherspoons spokesperson mentioned that the pub would be temporarily closed as the management cooperates with the authorities in their inquiries.
