A drug dealer was seen laughing on a night bus moments after confessing to fatally stabbing a university student. Dino Donaldson, 21, was captured on camera smiling and joking after viciously attacking Anojan Gnaneswaran, 21, at Strawberry Hill train station in Twickenham, London. Donaldson was heard on a doorbell camera boasting about the stabbing, saying, “I stabbed him through the back bro, I stabbed him fully.”

The incident occurred on January 8, 2024, when Donaldson chased Anojan onto train tracks and stabbed him multiple times in the chest, abdomen, and thigh during a confrontation over a drug deal. Anojan, a talented accounting and finance student who excelled in karate competitions, tragically died at the scene.

Shortly after the incident, Donaldson was caught on CCTV aboard an N87 night bus, where he was seen happily interacting with a friend. He was later apprehended at his residence in west London, where police discovered a significant quantity of crack and heroin. Following a guilty verdict at the Old Bailey, the judge remanded Donaldson in custody for sentencing at a later date.

British Transport Police Detective Chief Inspector Paul Attwell condemned Donaldson’s actions, describing him as a “remorseless thug” who armed himself with a knife out of cowardice. He praised the investigation that led to justice being served for Anojan’s family, who remembered him as a beloved son and brother with a promising future in academia and sports.

The family paid tribute to Anojan’s achievements in karate and his bright outlook on life, expressing their profound sorrow over his untimely death.
