Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague have disclosed the name of their recently born son as Midas. The couple announced the arrival of their second child earlier this week but had kept the name a secret until now. Molly-Mae had hinted that Tommy would reveal the name during his fight against Eddie Hall in Manchester by displaying it on his fighting shorts.
True to his word, Fury proudly sported the name “Midas” on his combat gear during the bout. Fury had previously mentioned to Mirror Fighting that the name would be unveiled on Saturday night and expressed his excitement about sharing it. He jokingly mentioned that he had received more questions about the name than about the actual fight, emphasizing that it was a significant and joyful moment for him.
Fury and Hague, who met on the ITV reality show Love Island, welcomed their first child, Bambi, in January 2023. Hague announced her second pregnancy in February, leading to the recent birth of Midas. The couple shared the happy news through a joint Instagram post featuring the family of four in a black-and-white picture.
The post quickly garnered over 1.5 million likes within two hours, with numerous well-wishers and followers congratulating the couple. Among those extending their congratulations was TV presenter and former Love Island contestant Maura Higgins, expressing her happiness for the family.
Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague first met on Love Island in 2019, where they finished as the runners-up. Despite a temporary split in August 2024, the couple reunited and confirmed their relationship in May of the following year. Hague, who has amassed a substantial following on Instagram, launched her own clothing brand, Maebe, in 2024.
Hague made her first public appearance since giving birth at Fury’s recent fight against Hall at The AO Arena.
