Tommy Fleetwood is pleased with Brooks Koepka’s comeback to the PGA Tour and mentioned that LIV Golf has not shown interest in him during this postseason. Koepka recently left the Saudi-backed tour and is now returning to the PGA Tour, with his first appearance scheduled for the Farmers Insurance Open next week, which is seen as a significant development for the tour.

The pressure is now on LIV Golf to retain their other top players, as Patrick Reed has hinted at a potential return to the PGA Tour. Fleetwood, currently ranked world No.3, expressed his gratitude for the PGA Tour’s competitiveness and the opportunities it offers, emphasizing the positive impact of Koepka’s return on the tour.

Fleetwood, who earned $10 million by winning his first PGA Tour event at the Tour Championships, is aiming for his first Major victory. He highlighted the importance of aligning one’s goals and dreams with their playing environment, emphasizing the individualized nature of such decisions, similar to Koepka’s choice to return to the PGA Tour.

LIV Golf, supported by Newcastle’s Public Investment Fund, made substantial investments in its initial seasons, including lucrative deals with Koepka and Jon Rahm. This year, the signings have been less high-profile, with new additions like Victor Perez, Laurie Canter, Thomas Detrie, Elvis Smylie, and Ben An.

Despite being a target early on, Fleetwood’s value has risen significantly, and he confirmed that LIV Golf has not pursued him in the current season. The Irish golfer Shane Lowry expressed support for Koepka’s decision to return to the PGA Tour and emphasized the positive impact it will have on the tour’s smaller events.

Lowry also shared his reflections on a recent missed opportunity at the Dubai Invitational, showing a determination to bounce back from setbacks.
