Center Parcs has decided to discontinue its crèche service for children aged three months to three years, a move that has drawn criticism from families. Starting next month, guests at Center Parcs will no longer be able to avail of the three-hour crèche service for a fee of approximately £30.

A spokesperson for Center Parcs explained that the decision was made based on guest feedback and the limited demand for the crèche service. The park chain is focusing on enhancing the overall guest experience by introducing new activities for children of all ages to enjoy together as a family.

Customers planning to visit Center Parcs resorts in the upcoming months were surprised to find that they could no longer book crèche slots from June onwards. This change has left some parents disappointed, with one expressing their frustration on social media about the unavailability of the crèche for their upcoming trip.

Before the closure of the crèche service, Center Parcs described it as a structured environment for children aged 3 to 35 months to engage in various activities guided by experienced carers. The decision has left some customers reminiscing about the positive experiences they had with the crèche staff.

In other news, Center Parcs has commenced work on a new holiday resort in the Scottish Borders, projected to create around 1,200 job opportunities. The development will feature a diverse forest ecosystem, offering a range of accommodations, a Subtropical Swimming Paradise, retail outlets, dining venues, and a forest spa, surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife.
