The detached battery must be carried in the cabin, either in a small bag under the seat or on the passenger.
For bags with non-removable batteries, Ryanair prohibits them as checked baggage. Additionally, Ryanair has updated its policy for free under-seat bags, increasing their size allowance by 20% to 40x30x20cm. These bags have no weight restrictions but must be manageable for passengers.
