While three individuals were initially apprehended on suspicion of foul play, they were subsequently released as authorities determined Chloe’s demise to be accidental.
Following an inquiry by Liverpool City Council’s Environmental Health division, the council has confirmed its decision to prosecute Britannia Hotels for alleged breaches of health and safety regulations. The legal proceedings against two Britannia Hotels entities are expected to commence on May 7 at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court. A representative from Britannia Hotels acknowledged the initiation of legal measures by Liverpool City Council and affirmed the hotel group’s full cooperation with the legal proceedings.
