Apple has rolled out a crucial update for iPhone users experiencing wireless charging issues. The problem has hindered some devices from wirelessly charging, forcing users to resort to MagSafe charging instead.

Although Apple claims only a small number of users are affected, it is advisable for all iPhone owners to ensure their devices are up to date. Specifically, the iPhone 17 series, including the Pro and Pro Max models, as well as the iPhone Air, require this update to address the charging glitch.

To update your device, navigate to Settings, then General, and select Software Update. Look for iOS version 26.5.1 and tap “Update Now” to install the update immediately or schedule it for a later time. Ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi or have sufficient mobile data as the update is a hefty 13.6GB file.
