During a video on the platform Cameo, the 62-year-old American actor disclosed this information. The video was later shared by TikTok user Savannah Leigh, who received it as a birthday gift.
Walsh, known for his role as Shane Hollander’s father in the show, expressed his fondness for Heated Rivalry and hinted at filming more episodes. He mentioned, “I love doing Heated Rivalry. I didn’t really do much in it, but I’m proud to be in it, and I wish every dad was as cool as Shane’s dad. [The] world would be a better place.” He added, “Anyway, [I’m] getting ready to go back up to Canada and shoot some more episodes. So, I think we’re doing 12 this time.”
However, Walsh later issued an apology and temporarily halted his Cameo account, acknowledging that he should not have speculated about the production schedule or episode count without official confirmation. He expressed regret for causing confusion among fans and the production team.
The show’s representative has not responded to inquiries regarding Walsh’s comments.
