Motorola challenges Samsung’s dominance in global Android sales by introducing the feature-rich Motorola Edge 70 Max. This new device boasts two exceptional features that surpass Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy phones – a massive battery capacity and ultra-fast charging capability.
Inside the Edge 70 Max lies a substantial 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, designed to prolong usage durations for activities like streaming, gaming, and browsing. Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries in Samsung devices, the silicon-carbon technology enhances energy storage without increasing the phone’s thickness or weight.
When the battery needs a recharge, Motorola offers rapid replenishment with the support of 90W TurboPower charging in the Edge 70 Max. This technology can provide a day’s worth of power in just six minutes of charging, outperforming Samsung’s current 60W wired charging capabilities.
The device has received acclaim from experts at DXOMARK, who awarded the Edge 70 Max their prestigious Gold Label for its exceptional battery performance.
Apart from its impressive battery features, Motorola has integrated various flagship qualities into the Edge 70 Max. The phone showcases a sharp 6.82-inch Quad HD+ (2K) display and is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, catering to demanding tasks like gaming and AI functions. Additionally, a large vapour chamber cooling system regulates temperatures during intensive usage.
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the AI-powered camera system in the Edge 70 Max, featuring a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a dedicated macro lens for close-up shots.
Other notable features include an aircraft-grade aluminium frame, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, water resistance, and a premium design available in Pantone Aqua Gray, Pantone Dark Shadow, and Pantone Ice Melt.
According to Wilkin Lee, Head of Marketing UK & Ireland at Motorola, the Edge 70 Max aims to seamlessly blend exceptional technology with aesthetics, performance, and everyday usability, catering to entertainment and gaming needs.
The Motorola Edge 70 Max is currently available for purchase in the UK at a price of £699.99.
