Some Sky customers are facing a frustrating issue with the ITVX app, where programs skip to the end unexpectedly. This glitch began last week, causing users to be taken to the credits without using the fast-forward function on their remotes.
Complaints have surfaced on Sky’s forum page, with users like Dazzasky and Dawn reporting random skips to the end of episodes, making it challenging to watch uninterrupted. The problem seems to be affecting those using Sky’s online devices, such as Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs, more than Sky Q satellite dish users.
Although the cause of the problem is unknown, a Sky representative named Kev has acknowledged the issue and assured users that they are working with ITV to resolve it. While a fix is pending, users may have to tolerate the skipping problem until it’s addressed.
