Sky TV customers will notice a significant change in their TV planner starting April 30. Sky has revamped its Cinema channel lineup by merging Sky Cinema Animation (previously on channel 312) into Sky Cinema Family on channel 304. This move aims to simplify the viewing experience by consolidating all family-friendly films in one place.

Despite the merger, viewers will not lose any content; instead, their favorite movies like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, Smurfs, How to Train Your Dragon, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Wicked will still be available on Sky Cinema Family. Sky ensures that all content from Sky Cinema Animation will remain accessible through the new channel.

For those who enjoyed Sky Cinema Animation, there is good news. The channel will make temporary comebacks during school holidays, running from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5. This means that children will still have entertainment options from the channel during these periods.

By making these changes, Sky aims to enhance the viewing experience for families and provide a seamless transition for customers.
