Police have publicized a surveillance image of an individual they want to converse with regarding a sexual assault incident at an Irish bar. The incident reportedly occurred at Katie O’Brien’s Irish Tavern in Sheffield city center around 12:50 am last Wednesday, March 8. Authorities are urging anyone present at the venue or nearby who might have observed the individual to reach out to them for assistance.

The individual is depicted as white, standing between 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a slender physique and short grey/brown hair, wearing a grey jacket. South Yorkshire Police mentioned in a statement that investigations are ongoing, and the release of the CCTV image aims to engage potential witnesses in aiding the inquiry.

Although acknowledging the image’s limited quality, authorities hope it triggers recollections for individuals who were in the vicinity at the time. If able to provide information, individuals are encouraged to contact the police either online or by dialing 101, referencing investigation number 14/47920/26. An online reporting tool is also available on the South Yorkshire Police website for submitting information.

Alternatively, for those preferring anonymity, details can be shared with the independent charity Crimestoppers. Contact their UK Contact Center at toll-free 0800 555 111 or fill out an anonymous online form on the Crimestoppers website.
