Melania Trump’s recent public address has sparked renewed calls for Donald Trump to provide sworn testimony regarding his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. In her unexpected speech, the First Lady implied that the convicted sex offender did not act alone and urged Epstein’s victims to testify before Congress under oath for a transparent airing of the truth.

While Melania’s comments raised eyebrows due to unverified rumors linking her to Epstein, the timing and motive behind her statement remain unclear. The spotlight has shifted back to the Epstein scandal following her remarks, which came amidst other news distractions such as Trump’s actions in Iran.

Despite Melania’s plea, President Trump has not publicly addressed the matter, focusing instead on various unrelated topics on his social media platform. Attorney Lisa Bloom, representing Epstein survivors and an individual accusing Trump of sexual assault, has called for the President to testify before Congress, emphasizing the importance of accountability and justice.

Additionally, two of Epstein’s accusers, Maria and Annie Farmer, have echoed the call for transparency and accountability. Former Trump supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene praised Melania’s bravery, while Democrats aligned with the First Lady’s push for a congressional hearing.

Congressman Robert Garcia, a Democrat leading investigations into Epstein, urged immediate action for a public hearing. Melania reiterated that she was not close with Epstein or Maxwell, dismissing any insinuations as baseless lies that tarnish her reputation. She condemned the false allegations and affirmed her commitment to fighting against the defamation of her character.
