A second individual has been formally charged by Metropolitan Police in connection with a deadly stabbing incident that occurred in Primrose Hill.

Khalid Abdulqadir, aged 18 and a resident of Camden, faced charges including intent to cause grievous bodily harm, involvement in violent disorder, and possession of a knife. He was apprehended on April 12.

Scheduled to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court later today, Abdulqadir’s charges come subsequent to another man being arraigned for the alleged murder of Finbar Sullivan.

The accused, Oliuwadamilola Ogunyankinnu, aged 27, stands accused of the murder of film student Finbar Sullivan, who tragically lost his life following an assault at a popular north London viewpoint on a Tuesday evening.

During a brief appearance at Stratford Magistrates’ Court, Ogunyankinnu vehemently denied the charges, proclaiming his innocence by stating, “I didn’t kill anybody, I didn’t stab anybody, they’ve got the wrong person,” before being detained.

District Judge Ashwinder Gill conveyed to Ogunyankinnu that the severity of his case necessitated a trial at the Central Criminal Court rather than at the magistrates’ level.

The fatal incident unfolded on Tuesday evening when law enforcement responded to reports of a confrontation at Primrose Hill. Finbar Sullivan’s father, Christopher, disclosed that his son sustained fatal injuries, including a leg wound that led to severe bleeding.

According to Christopher, the victim had visited the scenic spot to test out a new camera he had acquired for his 21st birthday. Shortly after, a friend contacted Christopher, informing him of the tragic event.

The Metropolitan Police continue their investigation into the matter and urge anyone with pertinent information to share it via the police major incident portal or reach out to the authorities by dialing 101 and quoting reference 6448/07Apr. Confidential tips can also be submitted through Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
