The £1 million Lotto jackpot winner in South Gloucestershire is close to forfeiting their prize, as the deadline for claiming it is approaching in three weeks. The National Lottery is urging players in the South West of England to carefully search for the winning pink ticket from the November 1 draw, checking common hiding spots like wallets, pockets, and even Halloween costumes. The winning numbers were 17, 18, 31, 36, 39, 51, with the Bonus ball number being 29.
Andy Carter, the senior winners advisor at Alwyn, emphasized the importance of residents in or around South Gloucestershire checking their tickets from the draw. If the prize remains unclaimed by April 30, the six-figure winnings will be redirected to support the National Lottery’s charitable causes.
Players are encouraged to review any potential locations where the ticket might be stored, such as safe spots, old wallets, or overlooked coat pockets, especially considering the timing of the draw right after Halloween. Ticket holders can conveniently purchase and check their tickets online through the National Lottery app or website. Retail tickets can also be scanned using the National Lottery app for verification.
