The family of Virginia Giuffre has urgently requested a meeting with King Charles during his upcoming tour in the United States. Sky Roberts, the brother of Ms. Giuffre, emphasized that such a meeting would demonstrate solidarity with survivors, including those impacted by Jeffrey Epstein. King Charles and Queen Camilla are scheduled to visit the US for a four-day trip, where they will meet with President Donald Trump.

The Roberts family views this as a perfect opportunity for King Charles to engage with them briefly, aiming to humanize their experiences and emotions. During an appearance on Newsnight, Mr. Roberts stressed the importance of the King of England standing in support of survivors and acknowledged their proximity to where the royal couple will be present.

In addition to attending a White House banquet and addressing the US Congress, King Charles and Queen Camilla will be central figures in the US during their visit. Meanwhile, a recent BBC investigation uncovered that Epstein continued to accommodate women in London flats years after the Metropolitan Police chose not to investigate Ms. Giuffre’s initial allegation in 2015.

Mr. Roberts criticized the failures of both the FBI and the Metropolitan Police in handling the case, pointing out missed opportunities to prevent further abuse. The Roberts family, along with Lisa Phillips, another Epstein survivor, expressed their demand for a public inquiry into allegations against the convicted sex offender in the UK. Amanda Roberts underlined the necessity of further investigations, especially in light of recent revelations about Epstein’s continued activities.

Recent controversies emerged in Congress as reports surfaced regarding the possibility of granting clemency to Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former girlfriend, in exchange for her testimony before a committee investigating Epstein.
