In a recent disclosure, Donald Trump shared his insights into government UFO files, describing them as “very interesting.” The US President announced at a Turning Point USA event in Phoenix, Arizona, that the Pentagon would soon release files detailing UFOs and other unexplained aerial phenomena (UAPs).
During his visit to Arizona to rally support for Republicans ahead of the Midterms elections, Trump addressed the audience, acknowledging their keen interest in the subject. He expressed satisfaction with the progress of the process, revealing the discovery of numerous intriguing documents that will be released in the near future for public scrutiny.
This development follows a letter from the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s Task Force to US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, requesting video files related to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena by a specified deadline. Concerns were raised by House representatives regarding the potential security threats posed by UAPs in sensitive US airspace, particularly around military installations.
Trump had previously indicated his intention to direct the release of UFO footage, emphasizing the significance of disclosing information related to alien life and unidentified flying objects. Hegseth confirmed ongoing efforts within his department to review the files in question.
In a separate context, former President Barack Obama indirectly suggested the existence of aliens during a podcast interview, prompting a reaction from Trump criticizing Obama’s comments. Obama clarified that while acknowledging the reality of aliens, he had not personally encountered them, dispelling conspiracy theories about hidden facilities housing extraterrestrial beings.
