Lenovo has entered the tablet market with its latest offering, the Tab Plus Gen 2, challenging Apple’s dominance in the field. This new device boasts a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a high 120Hz refresh rate and stunning Dolby Vision visuals, making it a strong competitor in the tablet arena.

One standout feature of the Tab Plus Gen 2 is its unique design, featuring a large circular speaker powered by JBL technology instead of the typical metal casing. This speaker not only enhances audio quality for entertainment purposes but also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker with a dedicated mode. Additionally, the device supports Dolby Atmos audio, providing an immersive sound experience.

The tablet also includes a practical built-in kickstand, allowing users to watch movies hands-free. The kickstand’s 360-degree rotation enables both landscape and portrait viewing modes and can even be converted into a convenient carry handle for easy portability.

Under the hood, the Tab Plus Gen 2 is equipped with a fast MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, a sizeable 10,200mAh battery with rapid charging capabilities, and 128GB of storage that can be expanded via an SD Card slot. Priced at £369 on Lenovo’s website, this tablet offers a compelling alternative to Apple’s iPad lineup, with the base iPad starting at £429 and the upgraded Air model costing £749.

For users interested in a feature-rich tablet experience at a competitive price point, the Tab Plus Gen 2 presents a compelling option.
