Kira Cousins, known for the fake baby scam, has spoken out about her tumultuous journey, acknowledging she sought assistance during the controversy. In October, it was uncovered that the 22-year-old woman from Airdrie, Scotland, duped her inner circle into believing she had given birth to a baby girl named Bonnie-Leigh Joyce by wearing a fake baby bump. The truth was revealed when her mother found a lifelike Reborn doll in her room.

Recently, the supermarket employee shared a TikTok video addressing the deception and explaining the delay in coming forward with her side of the story. She expressed her concerns about judgment from others but emphasized that she is determined to move forward regardless of people’s opinions.

Following the scandal where her ex-boyfriend was misled into believing he was a father, Kira received supportive messages. She expressed gratitude for the positive responses she has received and thanked her friends and family for their unwavering support during the challenging period.

Kira also acknowledged her need for help and hinted at addressing various aspects of her life moving forward. Before breaking her silence, she had posted videos on social media showing her with alcohol bottles, prompting criticism from followers for not addressing the controversy sooner.

Throughout her elaborate deception, Kira shared fabricated baby scans, footage of a gender reveal party, and staged scenarios of the “baby” moving in her stomach. She also documented supposed medical appointments and fabricated health concerns about the non-existent child.

In a recent development, Kira issued an apology to her former partner and those she deceived, announcing her withdrawal from a planned documentary about the fake baby scandal. Additionally, she was reported to be selling puppies from her dachshund, Roxie, to her followers through her Instagram account.

Potential buyers were asked for serious inquiries only regarding the sale of the puppies, with photos and videos of the newborn dogs provided. Kira’s announcement about the puppies followed a previous litter birth by Roxie.
