Tickets for an upcoming event featuring Prince Harry during his visit to Australia this week have been reduced by 50% and are now available for purchase at discounted prices.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are scheduled to arrive in Australia on Thursday for a series of public engagements. However, ticket sales for the planned events have been slower than expected.

In addition to the price drop for Prince Harry’s speaking engagement, tickets for Meghan’s exclusive retreat event have not completely sold out, prompting organizers to release unsold tickets recently.

Interest in Prince Harry’s participation at the InterEdge Summit in Melbourne appears to be low, as ticket sales for the event have been sluggish. Originally priced at £1040, tickets are now being offered at a discounted rate of £520 on the event’s official website.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to land in Melbourne for their unofficial tour, where Prince Harry, 41, will deliver a keynote speech on workplace mental health, while Meghan, 44, will host an “in-person conversation” at a luxury retreat in Sydney.

According to royal podcaster Kinsey Schofield, the event guarantees engaging discussions, relaxation, laughter, and memorable experiences. Attendees have the opportunity to pay for a group photo with the Duchess and attend a gala dinner that promises an intimate conversation comparing visits from 2018 and 2026.

Schofield added, “Seeing Harry and Meghan on the street when they were relatively new to the scene, especially Meghan as an actress, created a certain curiosity. Now, offering the chance to spend time with them for 3000 Australian dollars changes the way people perceive them and alters any parasocial relationship they might have with the couple.”

The two-day mental health summit at Melbourne Park will feature the Duke of Sussex alongside retired tennis champion Jelena Dokic and other speakers discussing mental health concerns.

It has been reported that Prince Harry will receive £36,000 for his keynote address, significantly lower than the £740,000 he received for a JP Morgan event in February 2020. Meanwhile, Meghan is set to earn £185,000 for hosting the ‘Her Best Life’ retreat in Sydney, scheduled from Friday, April 17, to Sunday, April 19.

Organized by radio personality Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, the event is charging attendees £1600 each for access to the lifestyle entrepreneur at the Intercontinental Hotel in Coogee. Initially claimed as sold out, the event, limited to 300 guests, now has additional rooms available for interested participants.

On Tuesday, organizers took to Instagram to announce the release of extra rooms by the hotel, urging interested guests to inquire through direct messages for availability.
