Amanda Knox is set to visit the UK for the first time, welcoming Brits to join her for “two special nights” near where Meredith Kercher resided. The American, known for her legal battles surrounding the murder of Leeds University student Meredith, will be in the UK next week to promote her film ‘Mouth of the Wolf’. This visit follows the controversy sparked by her podcast discussing Lucy Letby. Knox expressed her excitement about the sold-out screenings in London and hinted at releasing more tickets soon.

The documentary, directed by her husband Christopher Robinson, captures Knox’s return to the location of Meredith’s tragic death and includes original songs performed by Knox for the soundtrack. Knox, now a mother of two, has successfully turned her wrongful conviction into a multifaceted career involving books, podcasts, film, and stand-up comedy. She has invited the public to attend the screenings near Meredith’s former residence in London on April 21 and 22, with the opportunity to meet her and Robinson.

The free screenings will take place at the Greenwich Picturehouse. While Knox’s supporters view her as a victim who endured years of legal turmoil unjustly, critics accuse her of capitalizing on Meredith’s murder. Since her final acquittal in 2015, Knox has remained in the public eye through various endeavors, including writing a memoir, hosting a true crime podcast, and producing a Hulu drama series based on her case. Her return to Italy for a slander trial in 2024 further fueled media attention around her.

Despite the ongoing controversies, Knox continues to engage with her past, using humor in her stand-up performances to address the challenges she has faced. Her various projects have garnered significant interest and commercial success, leading to her involvement in multiple media ventures related to her life story, including executive producing a dramatized series. Knox’s journey from incarceration to exoneration has not only shaped her public image but also raised debates about the intersection of justice, media, and personal narrative.
