The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the NBA season at home for the 14th time in 15 years. The NBA unveiled the complete 2026-27 schedule, with the Raptors commencing their season on October 21 against the Chicago team at Scotiabank Arena. Their first away game will be against Washington two days later.
Among the notable home games on the schedule are consecutive matchups against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on November 15 and 17, as well as a showdown with the San Antonio Spurs led by Victor Wembanyama on December 10 and a faceoff against Canadian star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10.
January will be the busiest month for the Raptors, with 17 games lined up, including a six-game stretch at home. Throughout the season, they will participate in 15 back-to-back games, with seven of them not requiring travel.
The NBA announced 80 out of Toronto’s 82 games, with the remaining two to be scheduled following the group stage of the in-season NBA Cup tournament. However, the Raptors were once again not included in the league’s prestigious Christmas Day lineup. The last time they played on December 25 was in 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
