Queen Elizabeth II is set to be honored with a limited edition collector’s bear to commemorate what would have been her 100th birthday. The Queen Elizabeth II Bear, made from the finest mohair by renowned teddy maker Steiff, showcases exquisite details such as a jeweled brooch, an adorned hat, and Steiff’s signature ear tag with a brass button.

This special bear is part of the celebrations marking the late monarch’s 100th birthday on April 21. Priced at £289, only 4,996 bears will be available worldwide, symbolizing the Queen’s longevity of 96 years. Each bear comes with a unique number and is presented in a premium souvenir bag along with a certificate of authenticity. The bear, featuring fine embroidery on its feet, is 5-way jointed and fully movable, paying tribute to Queen Elizabeth II’s centenary.

Dressed in one of Queen Elizabeth II’s iconic lime green coat and matching hat, the bear also sports classic accessories like a pearl necklace, a crystal brooch, and a distinctive handbag. The royal family will lead commemorations for the late Queen’s birthday, with King Charles delivering a recorded address celebrating her life and legacy to the nation and the Commonwealth.

King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with other royal family members, will host representatives from charities and organizations connected to Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace as a tribute to her memory. Additionally, a set of 12 stamps has been released by Royal Mail to mark the centenary of the late Queen’s birth, featuring images spanning her life from childhood to her reign, including stamps highlighting her passion for horses and dogs.

Following the upcoming commemorations, King Charles and Queen Camilla will embark on a controversial State Visit to the United States, hosted by President Donald Trump, amidst heightened tensions in the Middle East and strains in the UK-US “special relationship.”
