This development follows a letter from the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s Task Force to US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, requesting video files related to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena by a specified deadline. Concerns were raised by House representatives regarding the potential security threats posed by UAPs in sensitive US airspace, particularly around military installations.
Trump had previously indicated his intention to direct the release of UFO footage, emphasizing the significance of disclosing information related to alien life and unidentified flying objects. Hegseth confirmed ongoing efforts within his department to review the files in question.
