Looking for ways to keep your children entertained during the upcoming Easter and school holidays? Merlin, the company behind over 20 popular UK attractions like Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, and LEGOLAND Windsor, is offering a special deal on their Merlin Annual Pass. Families can now enjoy a full year of theme park fun starting at just £99 per person.

This spring sale, available until March 29, includes discounts on Merlin’s three annual pass options. The Essential Merlin Annual Pass, the most affordable choice, has been reduced from £139 to £99. This pass provides 339 days of unlimited access to Merlin attractions, with some restrictions on bank holidays and summer weekends. A calendar displaying restricted dates for certain passes is available for reference.

The Gold pass, offering additional benefits such as free parking and up to 20% off at shops and restaurants within the attractions, is now priced at £189, down from £239. Moreover, the Platinum pass, which has no date restrictions, includes four Bring a Friend tickets annually and a complimentary one-shot Fastrack per visit. Typically priced at £299, the Platinum pass is currently available for £249 during the spring sale.

For a more flexible option, monthly memberships are also offered at reduced rates during the sale period. The Gold membership is discounted from £19.99 to £16.99 per month, while the Platinum level is reduced from £24.99 to £20.99 monthly.

In addition to the Merlin Annual Pass, some individual Merlin parks offer their own annual passes. For instance, Alton Towers’ annual pass starts at just £64 per year, the same price as Chessington World of Adventures’ yearly pass. Consider whether you prefer to limit yourself to one park or have a variety of options for day trips.

Tesco customers can use Clubcard points to gain entry to many Merlin attractions. For example, £1 to spend on Thorpe Park tickets can be obtained by exchanging 50p worth of Clubcard vouchers. Blue Light Card holders can also benefit from various theme park deals throughout the year, including Member Days with discounted entry, fewer crowds, and complimentary parking.

Annual pass holders can look forward to new attractions in 2026, such as Alton Towers’ Bluey The Ride: Here Come the Grannies opening on March 28. Chessington will unveil the World of PAW Patrol in spring 2026, while LEGOLAND Windsor celebrates its 30th anniversary with a year of special events.

If you’re a theme park enthusiast or planning to visit a local attraction, the Merlin Annual Pass offers a cost-effective way to enjoy a wide range of experiences. Take advantage of the current discounts to embark on a year of thrilling adventures.
