Police are seeking a woman for questioning after a 70-year-old man was sexually assaulted and had his gold chain stolen in Aylesbury. The incident occurred on March 19 around 12:40 pm when the victim was approached by the woman on a footpath between Jackson Road and Aston Close. The suspect inappropriately touched the man and offered “sexual services” before grabbing his gold Cubin Link chain and fleeing towards Autumn Close.
Described as a woman of Malaysian or Thai descent with a distinctive accent, the suspect is believed to be in her early to mid-30s and stands approximately 5 feet to 5 feet 2 inches tall. She was wearing a black baseball cap, a light grey jogging suit possibly with a front zip, and trousers with a dark-colored stripe down the side.
Thames Valley Police stated that a similar incident occurred on April 8, where another man in his 70s was allegedly sexually assaulted and had his Rolex watch stolen. Detective Constable Mandy Cutler is treating these incidents as linked and is investigating potential connections to similar incidents elsewhere.
