US President Donald Trump caused a stir on social media by sharing an image of himself depicted as Jesus Christ. The image quickly gained widespread attention online and was met with ridicule from users, with some describing it as “unhinged.” One commenter remarked that the situation seemed chaotic. Another suggested that Trump appeared to be healing Jeffrey Epstein.

The controversial image was posted shortly after Trump made scathing remarks about Pope Leo, the head of the Catholic Church. Trump criticized the Pope’s approach to crime and foreign policy, calling him out on various issues including migration, the situation in Iran, and the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. In a further jab at Pope Leo, Trump expressed a preference for the Pope’s brother Louis.

On his Truth Social platform, Trump voiced his discontent with the Pope’s views, stating that he did not want a Pope who supported Iran having nuclear weapons or criticized the actions of the United States. Trump demanded that the Pope, whom he referred to as weak and pandering to the radical left, refocus on his role as a religious leader rather than engaging in political matters.

The criticism directed at Pope Leo came after the Pope’s call for world leaders to prioritize peace and dialogue over conflict. During a peace vigil in Vatican City, Pope Leo emphasized the importance of serving life and denounced the pursuit of power and war.

This incident has sparked a debate online and raised questions about the relationship between Trump and the Catholic Church leadership.
